These terms apply to your use of imgtagger.com (“ImgTagger”). By using the site you agree to them. They are written to be read, so please do.

1. The service

ImgTagger provides free tools that run in your web browser to tag, sort, deduplicate and color-correct images, along with informational guides. We may change, add or remove features at any time. Because the tools are free, we can't guarantee they will always be available.

2. Your images and your responsibilities

  • Your images are processed on your own device and are not uploaded to us (see the privacy policy). You keep all rights to your files and to the tags and captions you create.
  • You are responsible for making sure you have the right to use the images you process, and for how you use the results. That includes copyright and the privacy of people who appear in them.
  • Don't use the tools for anything illegal. That includes processing illegal content and using face detection to identify, track or profile people without a lawful basis.

3. AI output is not guaranteed

Automatic tags, face detections, expression labels and duplicate groupings are produced by statistical models and algorithms. They will sometimes be wrong, incomplete or inappropriate. Review results before you rely on them, especially before publishing or training on them.

4. Third-party models and libraries

The tools load third-party components under their own licenses, including the WD14 tagger models by SmilingWolf (hosted on Hugging Face; the v2 model cards state the Apache License 2.0, and the ViT repository states no license), face-api.js (MIT License), ONNX Runtime Web (MIT License) and JSZip (MIT or GPLv3). Your use of those components is also subject to their licenses.

5. Guides and information

Our guides are written carefully and checked against primary sources, but they are general information, not professional advice. Third-party software and websites change, so check details that matter to you. If you find an error, please let us know.

6. No warranty

The site and tools are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Keep backups of your original files. The tools don't modify your originals, but browsers can crash and downloads can fail.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ImgTagger and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the site or tools.

8. Advertising and links

The site shows ads served by Google and links to third-party websites. We aren't responsible for the content or practices of advertisers or linked sites.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
